We at OMD are working to make our site [www.omd.com] accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

Accessibility arrangements in the organization 

OMD is committed to providing accessible service to all customers, including those with disabilities, at our physical locations.

Getting to Our Location

  • Parking: Designated accessible parking spaces are available directly in front of our main entrance. These spaces are clearly marked and kept clear year-round.

  • Public Transit: Our location is served by [Bus Route # / Transit Line] with a stop less than [50 meters / 200 feet] from our front door. The nearest transit stop is fully accessible.

  • Building Entry: Our main entrance features a wide, step-free entry with an automatic door opener. A ramp is available if needed.

Inside Our Showroom & Office

  • Layout: Wide aisles and clear pathways throughout the showroom to accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility aids.

  • Service Desk: Lowered counter height available for wheelchair users. Staff are trained to assist with any accommodation requests.

  • Product Displays: Samples of windows, doors, and railings are placed at accessible heights for easy viewing and handling.

  • Restrooms: Accessible restroom available on the main floor with grab bars, lowered sinks, and ample turning space.

  • Seating: Comfortable seating area available for customers who need to rest during their visit.

Additional Accessibility Features

  • Hearing Assistance: Our staff is trained to communicate clearly with customers who are deaf or hard of hearing. Written communication and visual aids are available upon request.

  • Vision Assistance: Large-print price lists and product information available. Staff can provide verbal descriptions of products and finishes.

  • Service Animals: Service animals are welcome in all areas of our showroom and office.

  • Support Persons: Customers with disabilities may bring a support person at no additional charge during consultations and meetings.

  • Home Consultations: For customers unable to visit our showroom, we offer free in-home consultations at no additional cost.
